Pulse Trading Expands Trading &
Technology Groups
BOSTON,
August 21, 2007 – David
Barnett has joined Pulse Trading, Inc., a leading agency brokerage
firm serving institutional investors nationwide, as Vice
President-Institutional Sales. Located
in Pulse’s New York office, he was previously at BNY
ConvergEx Group as Vice President-Program Trading, and acquired
prior experience at Harborside Securities, LLC, OptiMark, Inc. and
Merrill Lynch & Co.
Pulse Trading has also announced the
appointment of Michael Cahill as an equity trader on its
Boston
trading desk. He is a recent graduate of Boston College.
In addition, Simon Szypszak has been named the
firm’s Director of Information Technology.
He is based in
Boston, and was most recently with State
Street Global Markets, the specialized investment research and
trading arm of State Street Corp., from 2000 to 2007.
